The researcher would be placed in the laboratory under the direction of Drs. McFarland and Dr. Elisseeff. This position would be a minimum of one year. Current projects include: Cartilage Biology, Matrix Interactions, Tendon-Ligament Research, and tissue engineering. Applicants should have a basic knowledge of laboratory techniques in cell biology. Interaction with the orthopaedic surgeons and orthopaedic surgery conferences would be recommended. Publications of manuscripts and presentations at national/international meetings would be expected. Cutting edge research and the opportunity to be involved in a novel technology would be one advantage of this position. Minimum training for the position would be experience in laboratory cell culture techniques. Fellow must be funded from home institution. N000125MFR
