| Details: | The annual Elbow Instructional Course at the Mayo clinic is the premier international shoulder surgical workshop. Delegates are by invitation only and places are much sought after. The Mayo clinic, with the support of Acumed, has allocated a place for a BESS Member on the course, plus the opportunity to stay on for a few days with Shawn O'Driscoll. |

| Requirements: | It is intended that this Advanced Travelling Fellowship will encourage the successful candidate to expand his/ her knowledge and skills of elbow surgery for the benefit of their practice. This Fellowship is for the advancement of clinical skills and is not for any form of research. Acumed UK have offered to assist the successful candidate with their travel arrangements and course fees. Short-listed candidates will be required to attend for interview at the BESS Annual Scientific Meeting. The winner of the award will be announced at the BESS Meeting.
