The Lodge

Check in 2.00pm
Check out 10.00am
Lodge open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Delegates arriving Thursday morning will need to leave luggage with the Lodge until check in is available after 2.00pm.

Accommodation

The rooms are basic but all have en suite facilities.  The majority of rooms are single occupancy; there are no double rooms and limited twin rooms. 

Catering

Teas and coffees will be served in Foyer area during registration and during set coffee breaks
8.00-9.00 - Breakfast buffet served in Dining Hall for delegates who have accommodation only
12.45pm – lunch in Dinning Hall (we need to be prompt at time-keeping)
6.00pm - JCR and bar will be open until 12.00am approximately.





Thursday Evening

7.30pm Drinks served in JCR
8.00pm Banquet Dinner – 4 course meal

Parking

Unfortunately there is no parking at the College and no public car parks in Oxford in the locality of the venue.  However, there are very good transport links.

Travel by Park & Ride

The park and ride bus service is a good option and there are 5 surrounding the outskirts of Oxford, depending on where you are traveling from.  Information also on St Catherine’s College website.

Travel by Coach, Bus or Rail

Although St Catherine’s College is not too far from the centre of Oxford delegates should be aware that if they opt for a taxi, traffic can be heavy in Oxford, so please allow plenty of time to arrive for the BESS Conference in good time to register.
