Local Organiser's Guest Lecture
There has been a change in the local organiser's guest speaker.
We are very honoured to welcome Dr Stephen J O’Brien from New York as the Guest Speaker.
Dr. O'Brien serves as the vice chair for the Sports Medicine department at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he is also an attending physician. Over the last 23 years of his career he has been involved in teaching, research, and team coverage for organizations such as the New York Giants and St. John’s University. Dr. O’Brien has also taken active leadership roles national societies, such as the AOSSM where he has served on the board of directors. He has spent many years developing an algorithm for the diagnosis and treatment of biceps-labrum disorders and will be sharing his latest clinical research in this area.
His lecture will titled
"Biceps/Labrum Complex 2011: An Algorithmic Approach"
